GYMNÁZIUM BOŽENY NĚMCOVÉ

In 2022, Gymnázium Boženy Němcová applied for accreditation in the Erasmus+ KA120-SCH programme, which represented another step in the development of the school's international cooperation. The school already had experience with international projects, which played a key role in the preparation of the accreditation application. In 2005-2007 and 2014-2016, it successfully implemented two projects aimed at international student exchanges under the Erasmus+ predecessor programme, Comenius. This history of cooperation and exchanges has been essential for the further development of the school.

 

 

After that, our school actively participated in the international Erasmus+ programme in the period 2019-2022. The project, focused on teacher training and teaching innovation, started in 2019 with the first two teacher mobilities. The original planned period of the project was until 2021, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the trips could not take place and the programme was extended until 2022.

During this project, 8 teachers took part in the mobilities in 6 different countries. This experience provided our teachers with valuable international perspectives and brought new methods and approaches to our teaching.

 

 

Following the successful completion of this project, we have applied for Erasmus+ accreditation. In February, it was announced that our school was awarded accreditation until 2027, allowing us to further develop international collaboration and innovation in education.
